So, do you go for looks or brains?

I go for a little bit of both. I think it's a process of liking someone, a process of the first time attraction. For example, I saw this guy that I really find attractive the other time at a coffee shop. He fit all the physical qualities I'm attracted to in a guy, and he seemed smart, you can just tell smartness. So let's pretend I would've talked to him and resulted to be an Air head or a total douche descending bag, I think that would've made him unattractive and undesirable versus someone who might have been sitting on the table next to me reading a book I loved reading and a conversation started and I realized we had a lot in common and he knew things I did not know, and that would be enough to feel attracted, causing me to look at his features even more and say "Well, he IS kinda hot." You know? Btw, I sort of used the last example from a friend.
