who are Americans by birth, etc who have been accepted to Harvard? I met this girl one night while shopping at the Devi'ls Market at ASU for twinkies, milk, donuts and other things to help through the night with my sister one night not too long ago. While browsing for goodies in the store, Italia and this girl met up and started chatting about stuff and you know, the usual 'How you been?'s were exchanged, then she introduced me to her and what really struck me was that really welcoming and friendly "Hi! Nice to meet you! You guys look like twins! are you guys...?" (that always happens--people think we're twins) but overall, the way she said hi to me made me want to ask her how she has been and how her mom was, because you know, it just made me feel like we knew each other from a long time ago by the tone of her welcoming voice, but obviously, I couldn't or I would've looked...you know, weird, nosy, and overall creppy.
Okay long story short, she got accepted to Harvard--yeah, Harvard as in one of the most prestigious and unreachable schools one can think of, but here's the catch, she's an undocumented student that can't apply to many scholarships like other US residents/citizens could, so she has to come up with the money by herself, through private scholarship and merely just luck since our economy is at its worst--doesn't matter what the news say.
Here is her blog's adress, read it, and help out on whatever you can. Because how many Americans do you know that have gotten accepted to Harvard? And if you think it's hard, imagine how hard it must be for a DREAM act student. Below is the link to her blog:

Wow. I didn't see that coming. Good work dude. I'll check out her blog. Maybe blog about it myself. And post it on twitter.
This story is amazing. It amazes me how immigration can be. Honestly, look at our leaders. Not all of them went Ivy League. And to have someone that is going to probably the most prestigious school in the world as a 'criminal' as many would say enrages me that she can't do anything about it. I'm so happy to hear that she is able to go though and for certain being a Harvard graduate is going to be only one of her very few major accomplishments.
Btw. Idk how to send a reply or direct message so therefore I just wanted to say thanks for the comments a while back on my blog and I hope your doing well.

Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
