Just Because Everyone Seems to Hate V-Day.

Here's my opinion about Valentine's Day. I don't hate it at all. I actually sort of like it, and no, I'm not saying this just to go against the flow, and be an apathetic "i like what you don't like" kind of person. Some people say that they should celebrate love and those you love every single day, but it's not really like that.
When you're in a relationship, it doesn't matter how long or serious it is or has been, those little details such as the flowers, the dinners, the chocolates, the perfumes/colognes, etc start to die out the more the relationship progresses, mainly because you start to feel too comfortable in the other person, so you know you don't have to be as attentive as you were when you first met them, also you have other things that are taking up most of your time, such as work, school, personal goals, and again, you start to stop thinking about occasionally giving your friends or lovers a little cute gift, and that's when Valentine's Day and Anniversaries come in handy because it lets the other person know that you haven't forgotten about them, regardless the massive marketing the US makes out of V-Day.
Saying that love should be celebrated everyday, and there should not be an specific day is the same as saying not to celebrate Mother's day just one day, and celebrate it every single day. But do we really do that? Same with every other holiday.
