"& We will live amongst the Beautiful People."

I've been watching this show religously ever since I saw it on the Logo channel on the Free Zone section of my cable provider. It's amazing, funny and touching. It's not your typical gay show where everyone hooks up with everyone and there is the typical drag queen, the fashionista, etc. It's from Simon Doonan's anecdotes as a kid. I believe they should even air this show in national television because it's extremely funny--as funny or even funnier than Ugly Betty. Anyways, I love how Kylie or Simon always say in every episode:
S/K: "One day We're gonna move to Londond and who will we live amongst?"
K/S: "The Beautiful People"
And that is something that I can relate to--not living amongst The Beautiful People but living in the city I want to live--but maybe one day I'll learn to like Arizona; which I highly doubt. I found a connection with Beautiful People, well a guy specially.
I know this guy who graduated the same year as me. He lived in Texas but always had bigger aspirations because he had more money--other wise I'd have bigger aspirations which would become realities and not just aspirations for when I have my own job. Anyways, point is that he moved to L.A all by himself in an amazing apartment downtown, and attends non other than FIDM. He wears shit that probably costs more than my laptop. He used to work at a very cool place and was one of the top salesman, selling about 5 thousand dollars per week of clothes. I don't care much for the expensive clothes because I've never been one to spend ridiculous amount of money on clothes even if I had the money to use it as a loofah. What I'm saying is that wouldn't it be fucking amazing to move out all by yourself to L.A and have your own apartment and attend one of the most amazing schools? Probably, this guy doesn't even realize how cool his life is to us--the "non-cool" people.
